Vandenberghe – APEGA Director of Enforcement and Permits – for a
discussion on Life Management. Having worked in the oil sands for just
under 10 years and now in a public sector regulatory role, Jessica has
learned many things. She will share some of her stories, learning and habits she has that have helped her achieve a successful career and life.

Biography of Jessica Vandenberghe
Jessica Vandenberghe has been with APEGA since May 2012, first in the role of Director of Outreach and Product services and more recently in the role of Director of Enforcement and Permits. Born and raised in rural Alberta, she obtained two engineering degrees from the University of Alberta and worked in the oil sands industry for just under 10 years with several patents to her name. As a long time outreach volunteer, supporter of diversity, and a passion for education, she works to be a positive influence on the perceptions of the engineering world.
