Presented By: Kris Hans
Thursday February 18, 2021 12:00pm - 1:00pm (MST) Virtual Event Registration: Here "All genders - All experience levels - All sectors" welcome!
Kris Hans will bring us inside the mind of a designer and show us the value of a solution focused, action oriented approach to problem solving. He’ll explain the power of brainstorming and ideation followed by rapid prototyping and iterative implementation to help build the right product or analysis. “Good design is good business”.
With GeoWomenYYC’s “Data By Design” datathon we want to focus on designing an analysis over hard coding skills. We see coding and algorithms as useful tools but ultimately a means to an end. We will continue the Design Thinking theme over on our Slack workspace where we hope to generate discussion around applying a design thinking mindset to data analytics.
We hope you will join us on Slack.
